Although the Dallas Arts District is just 69 acres, it's jam packed with beautiful, Insta-worthy scenery and food. As the largest contiguous urban arts district in the nation, it is no surprise that the area is home to murals, award-winning restaurants, and lush parks surrounded by all of the buildings that create the famous Dallas skyline. Check out these posts that capture just a taste of all of the picturesque locations in the Dallas Arts District and get inspired for your next Instagram moment.
The perfect backdrop
At 120 feet tall and 150 feet wide, The Storm is one of the largest murals in Dallas. Eyecon Studios, a local mural and design firm whose murals are found all over Dallas, finished this piece at the Leonard Parking Garage in May of 1997. Although it is hard to capture such a grand piece in one photograph, this mural is perfect to add creativity, color, and culture to your Instagram feed.

If you’re searching for a vibrant backdrop for your next post, The Genesis is the perfect mural, no filter needed. This classic Dallas gem, located at the main entrance of the Dallas Museum of Art, shows the four elements - earth, wind, fire, and air - in one mosaic. Miguel Covarrubias finished the piece in 1954 for Peter and Waldo Stewart who then gifted it to the museum in 1992. Next time you’re visiting the DMA be sure to snap a couple of photos in front before you leave!

Savor the view
Klyde Warren is 5.2 acres of park built right on top of the Woodall Rogers Freeway. The brightly colored tables and chairs and fun food trucks make it one of Dallas Arts District’s trendiest scenes. At its heart, you’ll find the modern restaurant, Savor, complete with a panorama of the park through its glass walls. It’s the perfect dinner with a view!
