Your Guide to the Dallas Arts District Museums

 

The Dallas Arts District is the nation's largest contiguous arts district within an urban area, bringing artistic culture from around the globe to Downtown Dallas. Home to venues for visual and performing arts, the Arts District is an art-lover's heaven on earth. Visitors come from all over to immerse themselves in art, history, and culture, whether it be through concerts, shows, or any of the variety of museums the Dallas Arts District has to offer. With Trammell Crow Center located in the heart of the Dallas Arts District, tenants can enjoy all that the Arts District has to offer with just a few minutes walk.

The Crow Museum of Asian ArtCrow Museum


The newly renovated Crow Museum is home to a collection of over 600 works of Asian Art from a number of different time-periods, artistic mediums and locations. Immerse yourself in different Asian cultures and see the world through a new lens while enjoying a walk around the galleries or experiencing the many festivals and events hosted by the Crow Museum. Admission is free, photography allowed, and new pieces are constantly being added to the collection. It's the perfect place for an afternoon escape. 

 

 

Dallas Museum of Art

Established in 1903, the Dallas Museum of Art is one of the top 10 largest museums in the country. Its collection spans over 5,000 years of global history with galleries changing continuously. From paintings, drawings and textiles to ceramics and so much more, the museum's collection caters to many different artistic eyes.

 

 

 

                                                                                                                              

Nasher Sculpture Center

With art that spans over the last 125 years, visitors can walk through the history of visual art. The beautiful grounds have become a popular place for weddings, photo shoots or simply enjoying a relaxing lunch. Trammell Crow Center is proud to provide a corporate membership to all of its building tenants, for complimentary access to the museum and the Nasher Cafe.  

                                                                                                         

 

 

Perot Museum of Nature and Science

With exhibits such as the Children's Museum, Sports Hall, Texas Instrument Engineering and Innovation, and Lyda Hill Gems and Minerals Hall there are countless ways to immerse yourself into the wonders of our world. The Perot Museum is a unique adventure within the Arts District, providing fun learning experiences and interactive events. The most recent addition to the museum's exhibits is the Ultimate Dinosaur Exhibition where visitors can see enormous skeletons of dinosaurs, learn about their time on earth, and have hands-on interaction with these prehistoric creatures.
